Clinical Nutritionist & Author

I'm a clinical Nutritionist and author focused on chronic health and sustainable weight management. I help individuals and families build realistic, lasting habits through evidence-based nutrition and a family-centred approach.

My writing blends practical guidance with a thoughtful, reflective tone. It's grounded in lived experience, gently questioning the norms and encouraging deeper thinking about how we live, eat, and care for ourselves and our families.

As a mum, I bring both professional insight and everyday experience to what I do. walking alongside others with empathy, depth, and purpose.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens during the first consultation?

Your initial consultation is a thorough 60- or 90-minute session where we review your health history, current diet, lifestyle, and goals. You'll leave with an actionable plan tailored to your unique needs, no cookie-cutter advice.

Do you offer telehealth appointments?

Yes! You can book a video consultation from anywhere in Australia. Telehealth appointments follow the same structure and care as in-person visits at our Melbourne clinic.

Is clinical nutrition covered by NDIS?

Hope Nutrition is not an NDIS-registered provider. However, we are happy to offer lower-priced packages for NDIS participants as a community service. Contact us to discuss how we can help.

How is clinical nutrition different from dietetics?

Clinical nutritionists take a whole-person, functional approach, looking at nutrient interactions, gut health, lifestyle factors, and the root causes of symptoms rather than focusing solely on calorie or macronutrient targets.

Do I need a doctor's referral?

No referral is needed. You can book directly through our website. However, if you have a GP or specialist managing your care, we're happy to collaborate with your healthcare team.

What conditions do you help with?

We mainly help people with heart disease, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and weight loss. We also support those dealing with gut problems like bloating and IBS, low energy, hormonal issues, and diabetes. Every plan is built around your specific needs and health goals.
